UZELAC (Milivoy). [Album of Erotic Drawings] S.l., [circa 1930]. - Oblong in-4 album, 240 x 348. White morocco paperboard, black and white strip on the edges of the dishes, black diamond in the centre of the first dish, on which a female sex has been painted, black strap on the back. Precious and unique album of nearly 30 original pencil sketches, most of them enhanced in colour, by Milivoy Uzelac (1897-1977). Known for his figurative paintings as well as his nudes, Uzelac, who was a painter but also an illustrator and sculptor, took classes with Jan Preisler at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Participating in the most prestigious exhibitions in Europe, his works are largely influenced by French artists. In this personal album, the drawings are not signed. These are sketches of erotic and pornographic scenes; the first one shows an ex-libris depicting two dogs mating. Copy enriched with 3 beautiful anonymous pencil drawings, 2 on vellum paper representing a woman washing herself, and one on tracing paper showing a couple making love. These are not Uzelac's drawings. The album in which these drawings were made, comes from the printing house Draeger frères. Dirty cardboard, tears with lacks on the back.
