Black box sanded on a pattern of irregular lines, flat decorated with small intersecting green, purple, blue and red metallic threads and triangular black box pieces, inlaid and glued, sanded and bordered with small coloured metallic threads, cold beaded roulette, smooth back, blue suede lining and guards bordered with black box, untrimmed, cover and back preserved, blue suede interlocking with black box corners ( Florent Rousseau 2011). Illustrated edition of 19 original chisels by Germaine Marguerite de COSTER (1895-1992), including 4 full-page and 15 in the text. Unique edition of 140 copies on Rives vellum, signed by the artist. This one was specially printed for Maurice Legrand. Very nice copy bound by Florent Rousseau.
