Cramer, 118: Original edition of this book giving the reproduction in black and color of the 165 drawings and paintings that Pablo PICASSO devoted to the series The Lunches, made between August 1959 and December 1961 and inspired by Manet's famous Lunch on the Grass. The reproductions are preceded by a text by Douglas Cooper, itself illustrated with 23 reproductions of the artist's drawings in the text. The title and justification are also decorated with a composition by Picasso. One of the 150 copies printed on Arches wove paper, enriched with an original lithograph signed by Picasso and a series of drawings ( n° 45). Perfectly preserved copy.
