Deluxe edition, the first illustrated edition of this collection of short stories, reviewed and corrected by the author. It is illustrated with 11 watercolours by Alcide Robaudi, reproduced in relief on copper by Chauvet & Hellé, printed in doll colours by Charles Wittmann and retouched with a brush by the artist, as well as 35 compositions by Adolphe Giraldon . Although indicating a unique edition at 200 copies on Japanese paper numbered and initialled by Conquet, the edition was actually printed at 208 copies since 8 were made on white vellum paper, not commercially available. Exemplary on Japan (n° 141), very well connected by Carayon.
