JOSEPH-FRANÇOIS JOINDY (1832-1906) SCULPTEUR & GEORGES GAGNEAU FONDER-EDITORRoseaux and Aladdin's lamp, the model presented at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français, Paris, 1898Important naturalist oil lamp electrified later. The foot (base and shaft) in gilt bronze. The glass reservoir with polychrome coloured interlayers evoking an Aladdin's lamp and in the taste of Ernest-Baptiste Léveillé's glassworks. Circa 1900. A small chip in the glass in the lower part and masked by the frame, not original electrification, a depression around the base.
