Leaning against a gilded cushion and holding a rosary, a haloed raja dressed in a white robe with golden motifs, is seated on a pink flowered carpet fanned by a servant holding a chauri. Accompanied by a sadhu. He is talking with two religious men dressed in white robes. On the reverse of the miniature, a Nagari inscription reading "Pra(?)jananda-ji Balananda-ji deve Vabhavadas-ji" and its translation "Brajanandji Balanandji, Babha.. das".
