The festival of Holi or festival of colors is a Hindu religious festival, marking the end of winter and the beginning of spring and celebrated during the full moon of the month of Phâlguna (February-March). On this day, it is customary to sprinkle oneself and others with coloured powders and waters using instruments like this one.
