Zal climbs to the roof where Rudabeh joins him, in the style of Muhammad Muqim, Central Asia, Bukhara School, c. 1670 Gouache and gold on paper, leaf from a Persian manuscript, text in nasta'liq divided into four columns on either side of the image, Zal joins Rudabeh by climbing up her braid of hair. Miniature in gouache and gold illustrating a section of a Persian poetic manuscript consisting of three double sheets of paper inscribed in nast'aliq calligraphy, on 27 lines divided into four columns.
