Set consisting of a vase and two bowls, Iran, 12th-13th century and laterIn siliceous ceramic covered with a turquoise glaze, the vase with an ovoid body on a small ringed foot, with a short cylindrical neck finished with an oblique lip, lightly incised decoration of vertical stripes in the lower third, a large bowl on a cylindrical foot and with a flat lip, the smaller Seljuq bowl with a floral frieze decoration lightly incised in the paste. Height of the vase: 29 cm; chips, breaks, missing under the base. Diameter of the large bowl: 20.5 cm; height: 7.5 cm. Broken and glued back together and small missing pieces. Collector's label n° 3 under the base. Diameter of the small bowl : 14,2 cm ; height : 6,3 cm ; a restoration at the edge. Provenance: Former Hagop Kevorkian (1872-1962) collection .
