LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926) IN NANCY Joncs fleuris, the model created in [1902] Rare naturalist side table in ribbed and moulded mahogany; with a triangular crotch top and a poly-lobed escutcheon top. The three moving legs each receive an ormolu facing in the form of a capital drop and continuing in the form of a hoof. The tops are finished in burr cedar veneer; the top one has a molded edge. Art nouveau period. Condition of use. Signed and located L. MAJORELLE Nancy, in ink on the top shelf. Height : 77,5 cm - Width : 58 cm Provenance: Private collection, Paris XVI. Exhibition and museum: - L'École de Nancy, 1889-1909 - Art nouveau et industries d'Art - Nancy, Galerie Poirel, from April 24th to July 26th 1999.
