Léo LARGUIER (1878-1950). Autograph manuscript of a conference, [1948] ; 10 pages in-4 with some erasures and corrections. An a.s. manuscript by G. LENOTRE, La Petite Histoire is attached. A page from "Monsieur" (6 p. in-4), on the memoirs of Jean-Marc de Royère, former first page of Monsieur, Comte de Provence. An evocation of the situation of letters in the 1840s, on the occasion of a reception at the Conté Carrière in honor of the Eugène Carrière Prize. "The great lyrical storms that had turned Mr. de Chateaubriand's hair back and slammed Hernani's coat were appeased in 1841"... He evokes Balzac, Louise Colet, Guizot, Rachel, Sand, Lamartine etc... Plus 2 l.a.s. and a map of R. Conté-Carrière in Larguier.
