[Napoleon III]. 2 autograph manuscripts signed by J.P. Landou, dedicated to Napoleon III, Montauban 30 October 1856; 1 page in-plano each. Accounts by a veteran of the Revolutionary campaigns, decorated with maps. The author is a "former soldier sergeant in the 1st company of the 27th ½ brigade legere aged 80 years, enjoying an annual and life aid of 200 francs"... * Remembrance of Pirenées orientales in 1793, 94 and 95. On the part taken by the 4th battalion of Mountain Hunters in this war with Spain, under the orders of Generals Puget-Barbantane, Dugommier, Pérignon and Schérer. In addition to place names and brief notes, the map shows many letters to which the story refers.* Remembrance of Ytalie in 1796 and 1797. On the part taken by the Legion of Allobroges of Colonel Dessaix in the Italian Campaign: "I boast today to your Majesty of having been in 1796 and 97 of the army of Ytalie and I was in the first platoon on the bridge of Lodÿ ".... His card is embellished with remarks: "Here my captain Michel was killed"... Etc.
