Charles I d'Angennes (died in 1514), Lord of Rambouillet, was son of Jean II d'Angennes, Lord of Rambouillet and La Loupe, married to Marguerite de Coësmes de Lucé in 1491. Gallardon is located halfway between Chartres and Rambouillet. The disputed lands are located "between Pouvras la Folye and Gassonville".
