[PARIS]. Walks in Paris at the Moulin de la Galette - at the Hotel Drouot - on the quays - at the Luxembourg. Unpublished notes by Messrs E. R., Paul Eudel, B.-H. Gausseron and Adolphe Retté. Paris: printed for contemporary bibliophiles, 1894. - In-8, 252 x 201 : (4 ff.), 149 pp., (3 ff.), 4 plates, illustrated cover. Paperback, filled cover, tan morocco spine folder, colour photocopy of a mosaic binding plate stuck on the first cover of the folder, slipcase (Boichot). First edition of one of the most charming descriptions of Parisian life at the end of the 19th century. It has been remarkably illustrated with a colour composition by Eugène Delâtre on the cover, a polychrome lithographic frame with floral motifs by Alexandre Lunois on each page, and 4 out-of-text etchings by Bertrand, with historiated frame, in 2 states, black and colour. The edition was limited to 180 copies reserved for members of the Bibliophiles contemporains. This one, bearing the number 67, was specially printed for Baron Carl de Geer. A good paperback copy, enriched with a coloured etching representing a lady descending the stairs of the Pont des Arts. Wear to the cover. Several leaves and quires unstuck. Burgundy half-chagrin with corners, spine gilt, cover and spine preserved (20th century binding). A brilliant publication on Paris, illustrated with numerous black and coloured compositions in and out of the text by Jean-François Raffaëlli, to which Edmond de Goncourt, Alphonse Daudet, Émile Zola, Guy de Maupassant, Paul Bourget, Huÿsmans, Stéphane Mallarmé, Octave Mirbeau, Jean Richepin, etc. contributed. A copy of the current edition, enriched with a portrait of Raffaëlli by Lalauze on japon, a portrait of Clémenceau by Raffaëlli and a portrait of the latter by Willette, both taken from a magazine of 1888, and issue 274 of Hommes d'Aujourd'hui devoted to Edmonde de Goncourt. A scratch on the first cover, some traces of rubbing. Cover slightly soiled, spine restored. Provenance: ex-libris GC. - TOULOUSE-LAUTREC (Henri de) - CHÉRET (Jules)]. Les Restaurants et les Cafés, Concerts des Champs-Élysées by Gustave Geffroy, illustrated with 7 colour compositions in the text by Toulouse-Lautrec (1894). - Les Deux sœurs légendaires by Romain Coolus and Toulouse-Lautrec, illustrated with 4 colour compositions in the text by Toulouse-Lautrec (1896) - La Belle et la Bête by Romain Coolus and Toulouse-Lautrec, illustrated with 4 colour compositions in the text by Toulouse-Lautrec (1895) - Le Bon Jockey, Conte Sportif by Coolus and Toulouse-Lautrec, illustrated with 4 colour compositions in the text by Toulouse-Lautrec (1895). - La Fée du Rocher, Ballet-Pantomime in two Acts and six Paintings by Armand Silvestre, Francis Thomé and Jules Chéret, illustrated by Jules Chéret (1893). Copy enriched with an original drawing in pencil and watercolour after a drawing by Toulouse-Lautrec, and an illustration by the latter, taken from the newspaper Le Rire of 1896.
