[PUBLICITY - GRAPHIC ARTS] - COCTEAU (Jean) - MARTIN (Charles). Take care of the glory of your firm and the excellence of your merchandise, because, if you judge them to be good, your interest becomes the general interest. Montrouge : Draeger frères, 1924. - In-folio, 382 x 310 : (4 ff. first blank), 11 plates, illustrated cover. In sheets, in a folder with a dust jacket decorated with a typographic design. Prestigious album to the glory of advertising and printing, in which the publisher and printer Draeger collaborated for the printing, Jean Cocteau for the text and Charles Martin for the illustrations . The text is a treasure of typographic presentation and appeals to advertisers to encourage them to publish Draeger catalogues. It is accompanied by 11 colour plates drawn by Charles MARTIN in the purest Art Deco spirit. "This catalogue is the perfect celebration, never equalled, of the publishing professions, as well as one of the most prestigious DRAEGER albums". (Pages d'or de l'édition publicitaire, n° 82). Copy enriched with a letter signed by Georges Draeger, on the letterhead of "Draeger frères imprimeurs", addressed to Mr. Paul Nimier, chairman of the board of directors of the Société Métallurgique de Normandie, to whom he sends the present album. A very well preserved copy despite some soiling to the cover.
