[ADVERTISING - FURS] - MAX. Max Furs. Paris : Fourrures Max, 1910. - Leporello in-4, 280 x 135 (folded), with 6 plates set in a printed envelope glued to the verso of the second cover. Very rare and original catalogue, printed by Draeger, for Max Furs in Paris. It takes the form of a leporello illustrated with four Japanese-inspired colour compositions, telling the story of Prince Kararih who, wishing to conquer the love of Princess Liha, decides to bring her the fur of the dreadful beast of the Violet Mountain. The tale is printed in Japanese and French on two pages of the leporello. On the back of the second plate is glued an envelope with the printed indication: "Some Models in Furs for Winter 1910-1911 by Leroy & Schmidt". It contains 6 plates of 141 x 110 mm, representing six models of furs in black and white on a grey background from the drawings of Fabiano. These 6 plates are themselves included in a double sheet of printed laid paper. Small stains on the second cover, foxing to the double sheet of laid paper containing the 6 plates.
