[ADVERTISING]. Collection of more than 300 publicity documents, brochures and programs, mainly from the first half of the 20th century. Among the show flyers are those relating to Yvette Guilbert, Maurice Chevalier, Josephine Baker, Charles Trenet, Line Renaud, the Bullier ball (circa 1900), the Quat'Z'arts ball at the Moulin Rouge (1899, 1900 and 1901), the Tabarin championships, etc., some illustrated by big names such as Marty, Gus Bofa, Don, Sem, Bastia, Siné, Guy Arnoux, etc. The other leaflets concern cigarettes, the Champs-Élysées kennel (in the shape of a bone illustrated by Pol Rab with the dogs Ric and Rac), toys, fashion (Revillon, Simon frères, Grunwaldt...), restaurants (Maxim's, Les Vikings...), perfumery, gastronomy, cars (Peugeot 1914, TALBOT illustrated by Georges LEPAPE, Renault, Ford...), etc, with illustrations by Sem, Marty, Vertès, Brunelleschi, Joseph Hémard, de Losques, Edy Legrand, Pierre Brissaud, Dubout, Van Dongen, Rojan, etc. There is also a 1927 Lancel catalogue, a 1930s brochure on the Lido, another on the city of Nice, as well as a very rare brochure printed by Draeger, Théâtre Pigalle, its lighting and machinery, illustrated in particular with 8 PHOTOGRAPHS BY GERMAINE KRULL reproduced in heliogravure, and an erotic notebook in shadow puppets, entitled Carnet de bal. This set is kept in three boxes and a folder.
