- Le Grand monde à l'envers. S.l., [1919]. - In-folio, in sheets, publisher's cardboard folder.
First album published after the war in the series "Albums parisiens". Sem depicts, as usual, the social life but this time without the luxury. We find Maurice Rostand as a renter of folders, parasols and tents, Hélleu as a fisherman, Francis de Croisset as a real estate agent, Baron Henri de Rothschild as a farmer, Robert de Montesquiou as a barber, Colette as a newspaper seller, etc. Sem represented himself as a grocer.
The album consists of 24 leaves, the first with the introduction and the justification, and the other 23 decorated with caricatures in black and in colour on the front and back. It ends with a large folding plate on 4 leaves.
Edition of 425 copies, this one being one of 400 numbered from 26 to 425, numbered and signed by the artist at the justification (n° 157).
Lacking the ties to the folder. Tear at the central fold of the folding plate.
