Havana half-chagin, smooth spine decorated in the center with a blue, white and red mosaic tricolour cockade, gilt head, untrimmed, linings and endpapers composed of a printed map of Eastern France, filled cover and spine retained (Kama Rok). First edition of these patriotic chronicles on the 14-18 war, illustrated with 150 black and coloured compositions by the author, placed in the text and on full page. Preface by Fernand Vandérem. One of 200 numbered copies on Hollande paper (n° 88). Copy enriched with an original drawing in colours, dedicated and signed by Sem, representing a smiling poilu smoking a pipe. Spine slightly faded, rubbed at the hinges. Cover browned and spotted. Browned endpapers. Attached : - Tourny-Noël. Eleventh year. Bordeaux, December 1905. - Stapled folio. Issue featuring on the cover an illustration by Sem representing President Loubet and Alphonse XIII enjoying the joys of motor sports.
