Hallmark of title London 1919 and goldsmith Garrard. - 1914-1918 Medal. Silver. Awarded on the edge "CAPT J.M. DE FREITAS". 36 mm. Ribbon. -British Allied Medal. In gilt bronze. Awarded on the edge "CAPT J.M. DE FREITAS". Ribbon. 35 mm With its skewer of three miniatures: Officer of the Order of the British Empire in a military capacity, in vermeil, 1914-1918 Medal, in silver, interallied medal in gilt bronze, ribbon with bronze palm . Ribbons. On a barrette (pin missing). T.T.B. to SUP. Total gross weight : 109 g Biography : Julian Mignon de FREITAS (born in 1889) . Served in the 6th East Lancashire and Gloucestershire regiment throughout the war. He left the army in 1923 and followed a judicial career in Trinidad, Gambia and Palestine. He died in Nice (France). OBE.
