ENLUMINATION]. Four manuscript leaves (2 bifolios) taken from a missal noted in Latin, leaf on parchment, music notated on 4-line staves drawn in red ink, square notation, text on two columns, headings in red, initials painted in blue or red with red or blue watermarked decoration, contemporary marginal annotations . South of France, Albigensian ?, circa 1300. dimensions of the single leaves: 160 x 220 mmA note copied between the columns of text (fol. 1v) indicates: "Priora de Fargiis" . This must be the Priory of Notre-Dame de Fargues, diocese of Albi, at the bedside of the old cathedral of Albi, founded in 1325. In 1507-1508, this priory became a monastery of Annonciades. This near contemporary note must date from the copy of these leaves.
