REVIEW] - CHALUPT (René). Le Recueil pour Ariane ou le pavillon dans un parc. Paros : Édition Romane, 1911-1914. - 10 issues in-8, paperback. Complete collection of this very rare poetic review created by René Chalupt (1885-1957) in collaboration with the printer Jean Baguenier-Desormeaux (1888-1914) and the poet and typographer Alexandre Gaspard-Michel (1892-19..). It consisted of 10 issues published quarterly between 24 September 1911 and 22 December 1913, each with a print run of less than 100 copies. The cover of the last issue is dated "Hiver MCMXIV". It contains numerous poetic texts by Jérôme Doucet, Léon-Paul Fargue, Roger de La Fresnaye, Remy de Gourmont, Émile Henriot, Marie Laurencin, Tristan Klingsor, Camille Mauclair, Francis de Miomandre, Henri de Régnier, Jean Royère, Paul Valéry, Francis Viélé-Griffin, Tancrède de Visan, Gilbert de Voisins, etc. Some of these texts appear here for the first time. Each issue is also illustrated, in addition to various decorative elements, with one or more out-of-text or full-page compositions, by André Dunoyer de Segonzac (n°1), Georges de Traz (3), Laura Albeñiz (5), Marc S. Villiers (6), Pamela Smith (7), Marie Laurencin (8), Henri Farge (9) and Roger de La Fresnaye (10). The 3 plates of the second number are not signed, the number 4 includes a vignette in the text, signed L.M. Precious copy of René Chalupt, creator of the magazine . This is one of the very rare and perhaps unique copies on japan, justified "R.C.", for René Chalupt. This paper is not mentioned in the justification and we have not found any other copy so printed. Some soiling to the covers. Ink stains on pages 75, 89 and 90 as well as on the two plates opposite, in the second issue. - Included are issues 5, 6, 7 and 8 bound in contemporary ivory half parchment in bradel, each one being one of 81 numbered copies on Hollande paper. All of them bear the bookplate of René Chalupt. The copy of the sixth issue is enriched with the subscription prospectus. Provenance: René Chalupt.
