French work from the last quarter of the 19th century. Unsigned, hallmark of master. Length : 41 cm approximately. Size of the pearl: 8.9 x 10.3 mm. The pearl is accompanied by a report LFG (2021) attesting: fine pearl, sea water, no indication of treatment (pearl examined set, height not measurable) Georges le Saché was born (1849) in a family of painters . He showed very early qualities of draughtsman but he was sent to Germany to make his weapons in the drawing of jewels. He came back to France in 1872 and started a 5 years collaboration with Lucien Falize. When he married his wife in 1877, daughter of a great family of Parisian jewellers, he developed his own activity and supplied jewellery for all the great names of the Place. He was asked for his best inspirations and was expected to make the most creative efforts to participate in the great events of the international exhibitions. He only wants to remain anonymous and live unnoticed. His work is crowned with success and his "beautiful technical knowledge" is celebrated many times in the corporation.
