Casimir Lefaucheux" percussion pistol, single shot. Slightly flared barrel at the muzzle, damascus, stamped, with opening key on the left side allowing the tilting of the barrel towards the front. Rear lock signed "LEFAUCHEUX" and hammer engraved with foliage. Finger rest and opening cap for the storage of the bullets decorated in continuation. Walnut stock partly checkered (repair). Length : 33 cm A.B.E. About 1840. This pistol takes again the aesthetics and part of the system with tilting barrel and loading with the thunder developed by Pauly, of which Casimir Lefaucheux had been the workman at the beginning of his career. With the repurchase of the House Pauly in 1827, it also becomes owner of the patents of Pauly and its successors, Roux and Pichereau.
