Philippe BOESMANS (born 1936). Autograph musical manuscript, [Fanfare II for organ, 1973], 1972; 7 leaves 32 x 47.5 cm (the 7th 18.3 x 47 cm) (small cuts in the 1st leaf for the cliché with slight traces of tape).
Piece for organ, dedicated to Bernard Foccroulle who premiered it on January 20, 1973 on the Schumacher organ of Saint-Vith and recorded it (Musica Magna, 1973; Ricercar, 2002). It is written for three-manual organ and pedalboard, and lasts 20 minutes. [WD45].
The manuscript is carefully noted in Indian ink on oblong tracing paper, presenting 3 systems of 4 staves per page (except the last one): recitative, positive, great organ, pedal.
A typed note attached explains the signs of the score, as well as the order of the sequences, and the possibilities of adaptation according to the organ, specifying: "The registration indicated on the score must be respected as much as possible, but it is obvious that it will be necessary to adapt it according to the composition of the organ, respecting the family of stops and the indications of dynamics".
