Guy MORANÇON (born 1927). Autograph music manuscript signed, Nunc Dimittis, nuptial and choreographic cantata for soprano and 17 solo instruments; 132 leaves, 35.5 x 27.5 cm. This cantata is dedicated to Rita Streich (1920-1987): "For Rita Streich - Professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg - as a token of great artistic admiration and affectionate friendship. The work, which lasts about 33 minutes, is divided into seven parts (four of which are sung): I Prelude, II Invocation, III Dance of her, IV Dance of him, V Consecration sequence, VI Dance of the union, VII Finale. It is intended to be danced, but can also be performed in concert, without choreography. The orchestra includes flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, timpani, triangle, suspended cymbal, celesta, piano, 2 violins, viola, cello, double bass, and soprano. The manuscript is carefully noted in Indian ink on 26-line tracing paper. The signed autograph manuscript of the abridged version for soprano and piano (43 ff. 35.5 x 27.5 cm; on 26-line Neocopy music paper) is enclosed.
