The most beautiful of all, Europe, circa 1700-1720 Fan of broken type in cut bone with scrolls enhanced with flowers and foliage in embossed and gilded paper. On the sides, two landscapes in shades of blue, animated by characters in cut, embossed and gilded paper, one of a fisherman, the other of Harlequin and his bat. In the center, the shepherd Paris addresses the goddesses Venus, Minerva and Juno to designate the most beautiful of the women. The simulated throat painted with a chinoiserie. Reverse side, resumption of the compositions of the face with a sketched line. 24 cm (wear, restoration, missing rim)
