The Passion (on copper). 1507-1513. Burin. Each 73 x 115. Bartsch, Meder 3-18 (b or c/d or e). A complete and homogeneous suite of 16 plates. Very fine and bright square-trimmed proofs, the latter still perceptible on most of the proofs. Small remnants of tabs at the edges of the folio or tiny traces of glue in the corners on the reverse.

7 c/d, with small noticeable soiling on soldier's back in foreground-Meder
8 c/e, with horizontal scuffing on Christ's thigh-Meder
10 c/d, with scuffing across white coat-Meder

13 d/e, with the vertical scratch on John's left
thigh-Meder 15 c/e, with the small scratches in the upper left corner across the shrubs-Meder
16 b/e, with the horizontal scratch across the hair on the neck of the upper monster-Meder
17 c/d, with the vertical scratch on Christ's left thigh.
