[ENLUMINATION]. Set of illuminations from the 15th-16th centuries - Initial "P" with a historiated design. Two saints (Liberator and Faustina?). Fragment of an antiphonary or a gradual. Tempera, gouache, ink and burnished gold on parchment. Italy, Verona (?), c. 1490-1500, Verona workshop (influence of the workshop of Francesco and then Girolamo Dai Libri?) . Dimensions: fragment (H. 123 x 144 mm); initial (H. 104 x 85 mm) Condition: some missing burnished gold, not serious. - Initial "D" historiated. Saint Laurent MartyrFragment from an antiphonary of the saints or a gradual ? Tempera, gouache, inks and burnished gold on parchment. Northern Italy, early 16th centuryAttributable to Michele da Genova (active in Liguria and Emilia between 1488 and 1509) . Dimensions: leaf (H. 114 x W. 132 mm); initial (H. 109 x W. 122 mm) Condition: On the front, slightly cracked burnished gold, some paint rubbing; on the back, traces of glue . - Bas-de-page historié. Adoration of the MagiTempera , gouache, ink and burnished gold on parchment. Italy, Ferrara, circa 1450. Ferrarese workshopDimensions : fragment (H. 64 x W. 150 mm); bas-de-page (H. 50 x W. 130 mm) Condition: on the front, a few ink stains; on the back, parchment a little wrinkled .
