Bound in brown calfskin, spine with 5 nerves, red leather title-piece (binding a little rubbed, top cover with small lack, corners dull, otherwise manuscript in good condition). Dimensions : 165 x 105 mm The work was begun in 1711 by Sister Marie de Sainte-Agathe, ursuline sister of Josselin (Brittany) belonging to the congregation of Bordeaux, and it was finished by another sister on October 10, 1751 from pp. 289-290, then by another sister pp. 309-325 . It is about reflections on infidelity towards God, on the delay of a perfect conversion, on the notion of sacrifice, on the detachment of the heart, reflections of a penitent soul, on true conversion, mercy, the perfect return to God, trust, death, the Last Judgment, the spirit of Christianity, crucifixion, interior mortification, disgust, cowardice etc. Handwritten mention on the cover: "I am constant".
