Second edition, the first English one, published the same year as the original, intended for the English-speaking countries and printed in 2000 copies of which at least 500 were seized and burned by the New York customs services. Printed in Dijon by Darantière, it was published by John Rodker for The Egoist of London, from the plates of the original edition which was then out of print. An unjustified copy, well preserved despite small traces of folding to the cover. Without the four unbound errata leaves, which are often missing. Provenance: bookplate illustrated with a red fleur-de-lis.
