The Mausoleum of Mevlana, mounted under glass, Turkey, Anatolia, 20th centuryA rectangular glass plate painted in polychrome and enhanced with colored metallic papers on a white background from the Mevlana turbe in Konya. Above, the Bismillah and the formula in Arabic "Ya hadart Mulana" ("Oh our dear Master"). Dim. at sight : 38,5 x 48,5 cm Accidents to the frame. "Mulana" refers to the great Persian mystic Jalal al-Din Rumi who died in Konya on December 17, 1273. He was considered throughout the East as a great spiritual master.
