Set of four medieval ceramics, Iran and Syria-
A vase with calligraphic decoration, Iran or Near East, 12th-13th century. With a wide mouth, narrow neck and slightly carinated globular body in unglazed ceramic with a molded decoration of a cursive inscription on a scroll background, H. 16.5 cm, reattached breaks and small missing parts on the lip and foot; - a small bowl on a circular foot, Iran or Near East, 12th-13th century. In siliceous paste covered with a turquoise glaze, D. : 10,5 cm, broken-glued, strong iridescence, filling ; - a fragment of a small bowl, Eastern Iran, 10th century. In clay paste with calligraphic decoration of brown slip on white slip under transparent glaze, of a floriated kufic Arabic inscription, probably part of the word "Baraka" (Blessing), D. bowl: 12.2 cm, reconstituted bowl; - a flat-winged bowl, Syria, 13th century. With painted decoration under transparent glaze of black scrolls and blue flowers, D. 16 cm, broken-glued, strong iridescence, chips.
