Two embroideries with floral decoration, Ottoman Empire, late seventeenth - eighteenth centuryLinen fabrics with embroidered polychrome silk threads. - The first, large hanging in three strips assembled, decorated with fourteen rows of tulips alternately blue and red, flowers arranged in opposite directions and the composition surrounded by a frieze of semi-circles. Lining of gauze. - The second, an embroidery element in two assembled strips, decorated with six bouquets of red rosettes and blue hatayi flowers on beige stems and a border on three sides representing these flowers arranged two by two. 190 x 130 cm and 167.5 x 38.5 cmSpots , holes, repairs on the first piece, embroidery work faded in places .
