Ottoman square and bolero, Ottoman Empire, late nineteenth - early twentieth century - Cushion cover in purple velvet embroidered with metallic threads, decorated with a central rosette surrounded by flowers and four spandrels with fleurons, the whole surrounded by a border with floral scrolls and a small braid of woven polychrome silk belonging to the textile lining. 69 x 72 cm, wear, mainly velvet, stained lining; - the bolero, short sleeveless child's vest, with rich passementerie of gold and silver threads on garnet velvet drawing plant motifs. Frieze of metal tassels with small orange beads bordering the chest. Textile lining with floral decoration. Shoulders : 25,5 cm ; H. : 29 cm ; L. max. 39 cm; slight wear, stains on the lining.
