Khanjar dagger, India, early 20th centurySlightly curved double-edged damascus steel blade , the heel damascened with silver, the pommel in the shape of a tiger protome ready to devour its fleeing prey, with double quillons at the base, the whole entirely inlaid with silver (bidri). Scabbard covered with green velvet, golden trimmings and decorated with bidri plates at the ends with floral decoration. Length with scabbard : 43 cmWorn velvet , blade probably replaced.
