Mug and its lid with hinge in silver tripod, the feet representing claws maintaining a sphere. The attachments are extended with an embossed and engraved decoration of flowers and their foliage in recall on the lid. The latter receives in its center a Norwegian coin of a silver spiecedaler (later gilded) of Christian IV king of Denmark and Norway of 1640. The handle with two points of hanging scroll extends the claw of one of the feet ended by a cut crest. The thumb grip depicts a lion whose right front paw rests on a sphere.
