LILLE LAST QUARTER OF THE 18th CENTURY Chocolate box in plain silver of truncated cone shape, the lid with lateral hinge with double doucine finished by a seed in panache put on a screwed disc. Wooden handle with two hanging points, maintained by two discs decorated with concentric rings. Under the spout a rocky console engraved with a later RD monogram. Master goldsmith (DIFFICULT TO READ) : attributed to Pierre LEFEBURE, received in 1758, until 1799. Gross weight : 662 g - height : 22,5 cm Condition : the pin of the lid is missing. DEGRADED COAT OF ARMS. This model is influenced by the English forms, the religious communities having had common contacts with the English silversmiths.
