PARIS 1838 Sugar bowl and its lid in silver. It rests on a square base surmounted by a pedestal. The body of ovoid form is surmounted by a mobile lid, accompanied on its terrace by a butterfly with spread wings. Each part is decorated with garlands, the scrolled handles are composed of a leaf and a cornucopia. It is engraved on the body and the lid of scrolls of flowery foliage. Goldsmith : J.A.
