Flintlock pistol model 1763 of gendarme of the king's guard.
Round barrel with flattened top, stamped "CB" with thunder and engraved "Gendarmes de la Gde du Roy".
Lock stamped "SE" of St Etienne, signed "Simon Jourjon" and engraved flat-bodied swan neck hammer. Iron basin, with sides. Cut brass fittings, chased, engraved with the line. Walnut stock. Wooden rod with iron pastille.
