Flintlock pistol of naval officer of the type 1779. Round barrel with sides with the thunder. Lock signed "Duché" and swan neck hammer with round body, round bassoon. Iron fittings, belt hook and ramrod. The stock (fractured and glued back together) is made of walnut, partly squared and carved with a dogfish head. Total length : 27 cm A.B.E. Small punctures. Duché or Ducher, harquebusier in Tulle, produced marine pistols in 1780-1790. He was probably a fitter at the Manufacture around 1780-1790.
