Crest with gadroons, bomb motifs with buried spindles (re-silvered), plate with the coat of arms of France on palms, rush, plume holder, velvet lined chinstraps (some missing), in silvered copper. Remains of moire attachments with tassels in trimmings. Inner headpiece in leather and canvas. E.M. bomb trimmings reattached with modern thread, accidents and repairs to bomb motifs.
