Chinese porcelain quadrangular vase decorated with flowers and furniture, China, 18th centuryCovered with a light celadon enamel, each side is decorated with enamels on glaze of the pink family. On three sides are various compositions mixing in a very Chinese aesthetic flowers, trees and rocks. Peonies, chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, poppies and other flowers can be seen. On one of the sides, surrounded by a garland of flowers in blue underglaze and gold enamel, one can distinguish movable objects: a vase on a base decorated with its bouquet of chrysanthemums, a small piece of furniture with books on it, a kin in its silk case and a spherical bowl from which the handle of a spoon protrudes. The neck has been cut and replaced by a European bronze frame with an openwork lid decorated with flowers, scales, scrolls and vine branches. Height : 53 cmAccidents . 十八世纪青白釉地粉彩花卉家具纹四方瓶
