Partly original edition. Copy of the current edition not including the illustration by Roberto Matta on the cover. Autograph letter signed by the author on the false title : " To Edmond Bomsel, // in memory of our // spring walks // in search of unknown objects, // very affectionate tributes // André Breton " Administrator of the Sagittaire editions, Edmond Bomsel was a lawyer, bibliophile and collector, patron of several surrealists and artists . He financed the opening of André Breton's Gradiva gallery (1937) and was one of the founders of the Compagnie de l'Art brut instituted by Dubuffet (1948). A very well preserved copy.
