Nice set on the painter and miniaturist.
Two studies of women in black pencil and wash. Graceful portrait of a young girl. Study for a portrait [the Duchess of Angouleme?], with autograph annotations in the margin: dimensions of the bust, "width of the body, the body is a little strong; dark green curtain," etc.
Autobiographical note for a directory [ca. 1825], Note for M. Augustin, as well as on his wife (also a painter, she was his pupil): biographical information, his main works, his jobs: "Mr Augustin paints in oil in miniature and on enamel, famous especially in these last two genres [...] Appointed in 1819 first painter in miniature of the King's chamber and cabinet"...

A medal worth 500 francs is intended for you, and M. Denon, Director General of the Museums, is specially charged with giving it to you"...; a receipt signed by H. Parquez for the purchase of miniatures from M. de Coincy, Augustin's descendant, and their sale to Pierpont Morgan.
