Frederick DELIUS (1862-1934). L.A.S, Kensington Saturday [ca. 1907], to Sir Granville Bantock; 2 pages in-8 at his address; in English. He will be coming on Monday; very sorry to miss Omar whom he would so much like to hear. What would be the most convenient train or time of arrival? [Composer and conductor Sir Granville Bantock (1868-1946) was the director of the Liverpool Orchestral Society where he conducted the first performance of Delius' Brigg Fair on January 18, 1908. Among his compositions, the oratorio Omar Khayyam was premiered in 1906].
