Important set on Désormière's studies with Charles Koechlin and with his first works.
Fugue and Counterpoint (about 180 ff., mostly in-fol.). Important set of Désormière's musical studies, under the direction of Charles Koechlin: fugues and exercises on subjects by Bach, Th. Dubois, Fauré, A. Gedalge, Halévy, Onslow, Purcell, H. Rabaud, A. Thomas, etc.; autograph mss (one signed) of drafts and clearings. About thirty leaves are corrected and annotated by Charles Koechlin. With 14 autograph manuscripts of Charles KOECHLIN: subjects of fugues, detailed comments.
Le Moulin, after Verhaeren, dedicated to Claude Maître, autograph ms signed and dated Paris April 1916, for viola and harp (6 p. in-fol.); 2 other mss a.s. for flute (one corrected to viola with corrections) and harp, dated May 1916 (6 p. in-fol. each); copyist ms; autograph orchestral material signed for an orchestral version intended for the Rouge concerts.
