LILLE 1783 Cabaret in silver and four blue glassware with sides and diamond points on the stoppers. It rests on four feet with scrolls and vine branches. The contoured tray is edged with pearls and staples and supports garlands of fruit on the stamped bottle supports. The central obelisk-shaped socket with a fall of flowers is finished with a geometrical socket. Master goldsmith : Théodore-Joseph HARDY, received in 1767 Net weight : 885 g - height : 29 cm - length : 26,6 cm - width : 22 cm Literature : Mrs Nicole CARTIER indicates in her work on Lille that it would seem that this goldsmith specialized in the realization of cabarets because : " on twenty-one cabarets noted, seven, that is to say the third are attributed to him ".
