ATTRIBUTED TO ITALY XIXth CENTURY Bishop's staff and its silver and vermeil pole. The crosier is composed of different elements maintained by a central axis, enhanced by scrolls, foliage flowers, cabochons, finished by a paschal ring supported by two angels kneeling on a cloud, from which emerge heads of cherub. Below, the faces of the four evangelists emerge in the round from a square element. At each level are pearls or gadroons that are also found on the shaft made of three cylindrical elements mounted on the steps.
