ÉMILE GALLÉ (1846-1904) Orthoptera, hymenoptera and grasses, circa 1876-1900 Horned vase or large glass; the cup moved, the pedestal receiving a ball godronnée in its center. The cup realized in glass with the decoration title turning to the polychrome enamels hard in full, with the polychrome enamels and with the gold with the furnace; the edge rubbed with gold. The pedestal in blue glass called Clair de Lune; the base with title decoration in hard polychrome enamels in full, in polychrome enamels and in gold. Unsigned (or signature erased). Height : 21 cm Public collections and related work : Musée de l'École de Nancy - A variant, with more summary decoration, is preserved in the collections of this institution under the inventory number BD 2.
